I saw my very first "Sex and the City" last night.

The White House seems to want to frighten Americans. First it was spreading panic about that terrible birdflu epidemic of which less that 70 people WORLDWIDE have ever perished, during the past decade........and now they've suddenly started some really weird rumors about smallpox.
It is a known psychological truth that when people are afraid, they seek parental-type guidance and are easily manipulated by those who offer such guidance.
Hmmmm......sounds like maybe someone is tired of being criticized
and/or seeks to regain control?

If I were religious, I might think that we've been hit by 7 plagues.
First it was hurricanes decimating half of Florida.........then it was New Orleans being destroyed by floods..........then a severe drought descended on the Southwest..........and last week tornados destroyed homes and towns in the Midwest, while right now, wildfires have blackened more than a million acres in Texas.
What will #7 be?
